Breed - Mixed Breed Hi there! This special girl is Violet <3 . She is one of our favorite dogs here at the shelter! Honestly, one of us would have likely taken her home by now, but she likes cats just a little too much, and we all have cats! Violet loves to go for walks, chase balls, and play with her people. Don't let her age fool you, she is still so full of love and life! Once she is done playing, she simply wants to cuddle up and watch T.V with you! We recommend a home without small children, only because of how excited Violet gets when she sees people-she loves to jump around and may knock them over. If you have older kids, she would be fantastic with them and likely wear them out for you ;-).  Someone please come give this senior girl a Furever home OR a temporary foster until we find the right fit for her. It simply isn't fair for such a sweet senior girl to be stuck in a shelter. She just needs a home where she will be the only pet. I promise you won't regret it! Moose   Hey there! My name is Moose, and I am such a good boy! I love belly rubs, cuddle time, and play time! I was found exploring in Jefferson County, and no one came to pick me up at animal control. I was due to be euthanized, but the ladies at animal control absolutely adored me, and knew they had to find me somewhere safe to go! So here I am, hanging out with my new favorite people at the Humane Society in Morgan County! I would love nothing more than to have a home with my very own family! I am a little scared of storms, so a home that will cuddle me when it thunders would be amazing!  Unfortunately, it came to HSMC's attention that I had a mass that was a grade three soft tissue sarcoma. They had this mass removed, but I have a very high level at which my cancer cells are spreading (low would be 2,3, or 4. Mine are at 30). This means I need a home for palliative care and rest. I am still the most fun and loving guy! I love to play with my toys and my giggle ball! Please let me come home with you to live my life out in peace <3.
