Domestic short hair / tabby Hi there! My name is Redmond and you've probably noticed that I am a handsome ginger gentleman. I enjoy the finer things in life - give me a good pet, and I will lean my whole body into it. However, I do get over stimulated and scared sometimes and will smack you if you pet me too long, so please be careful and make sure I am comfortable. I was very sick and had fleas when I was surrendered to a TNR program when I was younger and was not being taken care of very well, so my trust in humans is limited until I get to know you. The shelter staff has been working with me and has me a lot friendlier! However, I still need some more work and that is really hard to do in a shelter setting and much easier at a home. I have never had a family of my own, but I would love one! If you have a kid free house (or older kids that will give me my space), please consider adopting me. The staff believes I could be the best boy, if I just had a proper home and someone that could put more time into building trust with me and showing me that not all humans are bad.
