Hound Mix Boone has been a long-time resident of HSMC.  Found as a stray back in 2016, Boone had his problems adjusting to shelter life.  In time, he overcame some behavior hurtles and eventually was able to be placed in a foster home.  He was with his foster for 11/2 years but sadly finds himself back at the shelter.  Boone is a sweet boy.  He does have a mind of his own so will need an owner who will give him love and affection but most importantly set boundaries for him as he acclimates to his new home.  A home with no children is a must. Moose   Hey there! My name is Moose and I am such a good boy! I love belly rubs, cuddle time, and play time! I was found exploring in Jefferson County, and no one came to pick me up at animal control. I was due to be euthanized, but the ladies at animal control absolutely adored me, and knew they had to find me somewhere safe to go! So here I am, hanging out with my new favorite people at the Humane Society in Morgan County! I would love nothing more than to have a home with my very own family! Maybe some kids to play with and a yard to run around and play fetch in! I am a little scared of storms, so a home that will cuddle me when it thunders would be amazing!  Please come meet with me and give me a chance.
