Pit Bull Terrier Hi! My name is Bella. As a recent newcomer to shelter life, I am just getting settled into my temporary new housing. How temporary will depend on you. I am super friendly with everyone and that includes my canine friends. I had been an emotional support dog for my owner who now must move far away leaving me behind. I have had a trainer work with me and have learned many useful things like retrieving my toys. These activities help me channel my energy. I walk nicely on a leash and am a good car rider too. With certainty, I will make a wonderful family dog if you will just give me a chance. Silver/Blue Pit Bull Indy, short for Indigo, is a 1 ½ y/o strikingly beautiful female silver/blue pit bull.  She had been found as a stray by our local Animal Control and sadly, no one came to claim her. Given her young age, Indy has an energetic side to her but she also has a soft and sensitive side as well.  Her sweet disposition will definitely win you over.  On the flip side, a bull in a China shop might best describe Indy’s energetic side. Her younger self comes out when you see the fun she has flipping her toys in the air and giving them a good shake as they land. Her sensitive side shows her willingness to please.  Indy will make a wonderful companion and lap pet (if allowed) but will need an owner who will be patient and willing to continue her training.  Indy is spayed and up to date with her shots.  She is also house trained and rides nicely in a car. Breed - Mixed Breed Violet is a very sweet 7 year old pup. She was quite thin and not well cared for when she came into our local Animal Control. Having put on weight, she is with us at the shelter now where, we will continue caring for her. Violet is spayed and shots are being updated. Ideally, a home where she can be pampered and loved would be our wish for his nice girl. Please reach out if interested in either fostering or adopting Violet.
